Central kitchen

The project is the construction of a central kitchen serving all the schools run by the municipality of Bras-Panon. It stands on a 1,600 m² plot in the area known as “Pôle de centralité Rivière des Roches”, along rue Corbeille d’Or. This school central kitchen produces 2,500 hot meals a day.

It covers more than 800 square metres on two levels. The spaces are sized to prepare meals for primary school pupils, secondary school pupils and many more. A space for cooking workshops is also provided.

Sustainability was at the heart of the project. A roof garden is planned for growing aromatic herbs and small-scale organic vegetables.
